I have an issue with the plastic housing that attaches to the glass on the lift-gate, cracked with a single vertical crack directly in the center of the glass lift gate. The dealership  replaced the lift-gate plastic, painted and returned the vehicle. I was told at that time, the dealership will no longer fix this problem. They told me this is an issue with this particular model automobile with Ford and that they will not pay for this problem again.

I asked what was causing the lift-gate to break, and they replied that the weather problem for this tail-gate.

Anyone else have any of these issues?

My husband's old Ford Explorer had the same issue, although only once.

I think at least 98% Aviators have that crack, including mine  :)
