I've been thinking about the upcoming Aviator and might wait it out before upgrading to someone newer.  Right now, I alternate towing my boat with the current Aviator and F-250. I guess that I'm worried that the new Aviator won't have the towing capacity as my current one.  Any ideas as to what the new Aviator will be able to do?

Here are the towing rates of the 2015 Explorer and they are pretty impressive!

Those are some pretty good numbers if you're going to use the Aviator to tow anything.  I think that they are better than our 4.6L V8 Aviators?

So it looks like if I stay with the 3.5L in any configuration, I'm good to go with 5,000lbs. of towing capacity.  That's more than my old F150!  :superhero:
